Run a research project in Agentlas Science
Install the Science extension from Agentlas Desktop, then create a project around a question, choose research fields and output language, and keep evidence, analysis, and written results together.
Check that Science is available
In Agentlas Desktop, open the product menu and choose Science → Download/install. Wait for installation to finish, then open Science. The extension requires Agentlas Desktop 1.2.82 or newer.
Create a project
- Choose New research or a research-field shortcut.
- Enter a descriptive project name and an overview of what you want to discover or test.
- Choose the research output language. This controls research outputs separately from the language used in conversation.
- Choose a project folder by entering its path or selecting Browse, then create the project.
Choose research fields
The Research fields selector supports more than one field. Add the fields that fit your question; clear or remove a selection if the project scope changes. Shortcuts include data tables, statistical analysis, data visualization, literature and humanities, astronomy, biodiversity, paleontology, physics, materials, genomics, molecular structures, and chemistry. The available shortcuts can vary by installed build.
Move through the workspace
- Project views: Overview and Logbook.
- Research views: Scope, Literature & Prior Evidence, Hypotheses, Plan & Protocols, Acquisition, Analysis & Runs, and Interpretation & Decisions.
- Output views: Results & Figures, Manuscript, and Submission & Archive.
Use Research views to move between these areas. Review the evidence and source material behind each result; a visible artifact or completed run does not by itself establish that its scientific conclusion is valid.
Review and export a manuscript
Open Manuscript to review the written output. Where the export controls are available, choose the output format and template, then download the result. Supported formats in the current interface include Markdown, DOCX, PDF, and HWPX; the formats offered can depend on the project and installed build.
Use the source artifact and its displayed version when checking a result. Table previews may show only part of a saved artifact; open or download the source when you need the complete data.
