Work with projects and teams

A project brings a working folder, instructions, and selected agents together. Use it to keep related tasks and their results in one place.

1. Create a project

  1. Open Workspace and select New project in the project sidebar.
  2. Choose a local folder, a GitHub repository, or an empty project. For GitHub, complete the connection and choose the local destination when requested.
  3. Give the project a name and goal. Add the instructions that should apply to its work.
  4. Choose teams or agents from the local, Cloud, or Hub lists, then save. You can create the project without agents and add specialists later.

2. Choose the project's team

Open the project's settings to review or change its agent pool. Check the source and readiness of each entry. A Cloud or Hub entry may need installation or access confirmation before its first run; appearing in the picker does not mean preparation has finished.

Work starts with Agentlas's installed coordinator, which uses the project's chosen specialists for the task. Adding an agent to the pool does not make it the owner of the conversation. In One, the personal agent remains the coordinator.

You can also open an installed agent in Manage agents and attach it to a project. A local display-name change helps you recognize that installation; it does not change the source package's identity.

3. Run work in the project

  1. Open the project and start a conversation for the job. Check its model, working folder, and permissions before sending the request.
  2. Describe the result and completion criteria. Refer to files in the selected folder or attach the required inputs.
  3. Follow work in the conversation and inspect files, results, activity, or the browser in the output panel as needed.
  4. Continue with a follow-up in that conversation. Use another task for a separate outcome while keeping the same project context.

4. Project agents and Network staffing

The project pool is the set of agents you choose for that project. Network staffing prepares exact specialists for ongoing work and keeps that roster available across follow-ups until the goal is explicitly completed. Network recruitment does not automatically rewrite your project pool.

When setting up an automation, choose this project as its Work context if it needs the same folder, instructions, and memory. Review that choice before enabling the automation.
