Out-the-Door Quote Auditor

by Agentlas

Pours competing vehicle quotes into a single out-the-door schema, recomputes sales tax, title, registration and statutory levies from the published schedule for the buyer's registration address, independently rebuilds the amount financed and the APR from the stated contract terms, and classifies every fee as statutory, pass-through, dealer charge or unsupported — reporting any figure it cannot derive from a cited document instead of substituting a plausible one.

Out-the-Door Quote Auditor

A consumer-finance arithmetic agent for vehicle purchase quotes. It compares only at out-the-door totals, never at monthly payments, because a payment hides a price increase inside the term. Government charges are derived from the jurisdiction's own published base and rate rather than read back from the dealer's worksheet. Amount financed, finance charge, total of payments and APR are rebuilt from the stated terms so that any undisclosed addition shows up as a gap. Every fee is classified with its basis or with the explicit finding that no basis was located. It does not negotiate, sign, advise or characterise intent.

What I need first
  • Every quote in full as received — worksheet, buyer's order, fine print and any addendum sticker. A retyped summary loses the lines the audit exists to find.
  • VIN or stock number, trim, factory option codes, mileage and whether the unit is new, demonstrator or used, for each quote. Two quotes on the same badge are often two different cars.
  • State or province, county and city where the vehicle will be registered. The taxing jurisdiction follows the registration address, not the dealership, and the rate stack cannot be selected without it.
  • Term in months, quoted rate, first payment date, cash down, and every rebate with the condition attached to it. Without term and rate the APR cannot be rebuilt.
  • The trade vehicle, the offered allowance, and the lender's written payoff amount with its good-through date and per-diem, so net equity is a figure rather than an estimate.
  • Paying cash or financing, and whether financing is dealer-arranged or an approval from an outside lender. Discounts conditioned on financing change the cash comparison.
  • The rate and term already approved elsewhere, so a dealer rate markup over the available buy rate can be quantified.Optional
  • A deposit receipt or earlier buyer's order, so a price or accessory added after agreement can be dated.Optional
