Longform Repurposing Newsroom

by Agentlas

An eight-role newsroom that turns one long recording into clips, a newsletter and social threads without letting the derived artifacts drift from what was actually said: a word-level diarized transcript is the only source of truth, moments are refused unless they stand alone with their conditionals intact, captions are treated as quotes and shortened only by ending earlier, every written claim carries a timestamp anchor with its hedges preserved, the voice pass proves by hash that no quoted span changed, and a fidelity gate diffs every string against its transcript span and rejects misquotes, context cuts and misattributions before anything reaches the calendar.

Longform Repurposing Newsroom

An eight-role newsroom that turns one long recording into clips, a newsletter and social threads without letting the derived artifacts drift from what was actually said: a word-level diarized transcript is the only source of truth, moments are refused unless they stand alone with their conditionals intact, captions are treated as quotes and shortened only by ending earlier, every written claim carries a timestamp anchor with its hedges preserved, the voice pass proves by hash that no quoted span changed, and a fidelity gate diffs every string against its transcript span and rejects misquotes, context cuts and misattributions before anything reaches the calendar.

What I need first
  • The audio or video file and its duration. The newsroom starts from a recording that already exists; it does not record, restore or master audio.
  • Who is speaking, with the names and titles exactly as they should appear on screen and in print. Attribution comes from diarization matched to this roster, never from who sounds like they would have said it.
  • Which platforms and formats, how many pieces of each, and the cadence. Duration limits are enforced by choosing different moments rather than by trimming qualifiers out of a quote.
  • Three to five published pieces the brand is happy with, plus phrasings it never wants to see. Voice is derived as observable patterns; adjectives like warm but authoritative cannot be applied or checked.
  • Any limits on using guest material, and the spans a speaker asked to keep off the record. Off-record spans are removed before moment scouting begins rather than filtered out later.Optional
  • Prep documents or notes, used for context and correct spellings. Nothing in them may be cited as if it were said aloud.Optional
  • Clips that worked before, used to inform selection - never to justify a cut that changes a claim.Optional
  • Correct spellings for product names, people and companies, so transcript corrections can be told apart from inventions.Optional
